At the invitation during each worship service, if you
desire to accept Christ as your savior or to make New Hope Baptist your
church home, we would welcome your decision in several ways:
By Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ
Should you desire to make a public commitment to Jesus
Christ, you may come expressing that desire and asking for a membership in
our church through Christian Baptism.
By Transfer of
Letter
If you desire membership in our church and are presently a part of another
Baptist church (having been baptized), you may come by letter. Please
let us know the church from which you are transferring your letter.
By Statement of
Faith
If you have previously been baptized by immersion and are not presently
associated with a Baptist church, you may come by statement of faith
on your previous commitment and baptism.
By
Baptism from Another Denomination If you are a Christian and are coming from another denomination (never
been a Baptist), you may come for baptism into our church. This is in
no way intended to question your prior Christian commitment, but is
meant as a symbol of your identification with our church's beliefs.
