This System was designed to make it quick, simple, and easy for anyone to have an electronic version of the bible on his/her computer and as such every effort was taken to minimize the file size without losing any of the content. The programs interface and controls are designed to be rather intuitive to minimize the learning curve associated with effectively using the program. The standard download includes the King James Version of the bible.
     An Easy to navigate list interface to access passages, ability to type in a reference using the standard reference method and obtain the corresponding verse(s) i.e. John 3:16, ability to run advanced searches using All the words, any of the words or exact phrase through the bible, an extra word search feature which allows you to run a quick word search on the currently displayed passage, a built in word dictionary, Hitchcock's Bible Names dictionary with over 2600 names in it, A Table with the units used in the bible along with their modern equivalents, Matthew Henrys Commentary (A free separate download), bookmarks, Strong's Lexicon Database, a topical outline of the bible, Famous bible stories, Prophecies of the Messiah and their fulfillments, Parables of Jesus Christ, Miracles of Jesus Christ, Verse of the day feature, Ability to take notes, And much much more....
     We have incorporated many of the suggestions that were given and attempted to make the program become the most complete bible system while being small in size. To accommodate this, we have included many of the standard features along with various search items and plug-ins that most people will use, however, we have left out some of the more advanced plug-ins such as Matthew Henry's Commentary, and Strong's Lexicon as well as over 9 other translations available for download. Here’s how the present version of this program evolved:

Version 3.0 (3/4/2007)

• Tabs now have icons to indicate their contents
• Enhanced Organize Bookmarks dialog
• Completely rewrote many aspects of the program to enhance internal workings, stability, and performance
